About the Grant for Cultural Activity in Ukraine:
The British Council invites cultural and creative organisations from across Ukraine to apply for funding to support cultural projects that involve collaboration with UK artists, experts, or speakers. This grant aims to strengthen cultural ties between the UK and Ukraine, facilitating artistic exchange in various formats, such as exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, and residencies.
Eligible projects:
- Exhibitions featuring works by UK artists
- Screenings of UK films at festivals or public events
- Workshops and conferences with UK experts or speakers
- Collaborative residencies with UK artists
The projects can have physical, digital, or hybrid formats depending on safety conditions in Ukraine. Applications are encouraged from across all creative sectors and at the intersection of arts, creative industries, and education. The grant is open to legally registered non-profit organisations in Ukraine with a proven track record of delivering cultural projects. Experience in international collaborations is an advantage.
The funding supports various activities, such as:
- Expert fees for UK speakers and artists

- Marketing and promotion
- Translation and interpreter fees

- Travel and insurance costs
