Following a virtual meeting of EU Ministers of Culture held on 8 April 2020 regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, proposed the launch of a platform for the CCS to share information and good practices among themselves. This is how Creatives Unite was born. After more than a year of life, Creatives Unite still follows closely and responds to the rapid changes of today’s main global challenge, the Covid-19, highlighting good practices and solutions that lead the way towards recovering from the crisis and can help the sector to imagine the next day. Creatives Unite is operated by the European Creative Hubs Network and the Goethe-Institut as part of Creative FLIP.
