Creatives Unite is a one-stop-shop that gathers in one place all initiatives, information and tools related to the Cultural and Creative Sectors in the EU and beyond.
Our aim is to bridge the gap between the artists and the overall ecosystem by gathering information circulating on the web regarding creative opportunities and giving voice to creators around Europe.
Creatives Unite has for the first time built in one place tools to help artists and creators find funding and mobility opportunities and get to know more about their own intellectual property. So You Need Money, My Intellectual Property and Mobility Search are the three tools to direct them to the relevant websites of the respective networks, organisations and initiatives to apply for the program that best suits their needs.
Creatives Unite was born in response to the pandemic and the pressing need to gather in one place pertinent initiatives and information related to the CCS in the EU in response to the COVID crisis.
Following a virtual meeting of EU Ministers of Culture held on 8 April 2020 regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, proposed the launch of a platform for the CCS to share information and good practices among themselves. This is how Creatives Unite was born.
After more than a year of life, Creatives Unite still follows closely and responds to the rapid changes of today’s main global challenge, the Covid-19, highlighting good practices and solutions that lead the way towards recovering from the crisis and can help the sector to imagine the next day.
Creatives Unite is operated by the European Creative Hubs Network and the Goethe-Institut as part of Creative FLIP.
