The 30 winners for the European Heritage Awards/ Europa Nostra Awards 2025 were announced in June. The Awards have been organized every year since 2002 by the European Commission and Europa Nostra to honour excellence examples of tangible and intangible heritage.
Among the 30 finalists, up to five are to be announced as Grand Prix by an independent jury of eleven experts and one is to be voted by the audience as the Public’s Choice Winner.
According to the rules of procedure, each voter must vote for 3 projects. Votes are open for the audience until 12 September.
The Public’s Award and Top Winners will be announced on 13 October, during the European Heritage Awards Ceremony 2025.
Public's Choice and Top winners receive €10,000 each, while all 30 finalists benefit from visibility and networking opportunities provided by the Awards.
The ceremony will be held as the highlight of the European Cultural Heritage Summit 2025, 12 - 14 October in Brussels, in the presence of European Commissioner Glenn Micallef and Europa Nostra’s Executive President Hermann Parzinger.
