What is WALC?
Walking Arts & Local Communities (WALC) is a four-year project funded by Creative Europe, launched in January 2024. With six partner organizations across five countries, WALC aims to create a central hub for artistic research and practice in walking arts in Prespa, Greece, located at the crossroads of Greece, Albania, and North Macedonia. The hub is complemented by a global digital platform that connects walking arts practitioners and communities worldwide.
What Does It Mean to Be a NODE?
As a NODE, you’ll lead activities in your local area while collaborating with an international network of artists, researchers, and changemakers. Your participation will help foster social, cultural, and ecological transformation through walking arts.
