About the Symposium
The Parenting in the Arts symposium will bring together diverse voices to ask hard questions about how the art world can better support those balancing creative practice with caregiving. In an industry where structures often exclude artist parents, this gathering advocates for new tools, infrastructures, and policies to enable more inclusive participation.
Set across the Archivraum and Foyer of Kunstverein München, the programme will be held primarily in English, with workshops in English or German depending on participants’ needs. The event is organised on a pay-what-you-can basis to promote accessibility.

- Engage in urgent conversations around care, gender justice, and equity in the arts
