About Tracks4Crafts Contest 2026
Craftspeople and makers from across the European continent are invited to create a unique video that depicts and communicates the gesture, movement and performance of their craft practice utilising images, sound and your own story telling.
Craftsmanship can be beautiful. The flow of the hands, the behaviour of the material, the sound of the tools and the process of precision to realise a vision in making. The clouds of stone dust or the waves of wood curls. The spiralling of thread or the spinning of staves. In its own way, the crafting process is a performance with its own aesthetic.
Why take part
- The winning video will be showcased in the Tracks4Crafts final exhibition in Antwerp.
- The winner will have the opportunity for an optional one-on-one craft business model consultation session via video call (in English) with prof. Annick Schramme from the University of Antwerp. If you are looking to launch a craft business or are already running one, this consultation will help with growth and development of your business model.
- The winner will become a Tracks4Crafts ambassador and will have the opportunity to take part in three international opportunities, including the Accelerator4Crafts, the Skillman International Forum, and the Tracks4Crafts Exhibition (with travel and accommodation for one person covered up to 1.000€).
- The announcement of the winner will be shared on the Tracks4Crafts website, on the Tracks4Crafts social media and by our Tracks4Crafts project partners.
