About the Program:
The CREAte Music Residency at Curiosibot Lab offers a unique opportunity for musicians and sound artists to push the boundaries of their craft by integrating new AI technologies. Located in the artistic neighborhood of Russafa, Valencia, this residency is for artists who are interested to explore new frontiers in music production and performance.
During this one-month residency, participants will have access to a fully equipped studio and receive mentorship in AI-driven music tools such as Google Colab and the Combobulator plugin. The residency focuses on the creation of unique samples and sounds, offering hands-on training regardless of the artist’s prior experience with AI.
The residency includes a stipend for living expenses (€25 per day), travel (up to €700), and materials, along with on-site accommodation and access to studio space.
Residency Offer:
Artists will stay in a studio apartment with essential amenities and have several hours of dedicated access to the Curiosibot Lab studio each day. In addition to technical training and mentoring, participants will have the chance to work closely with external collaborators like Ben Cantil from Datamind Audio, who will guide them in utilizing AI tools to enhance their music.
At the end of the residency, artists are encouraged to share their experiences through presentations or workshops and contribute to the growing community at Curiosibot Lab.
