About the event

The Re Renovate Symposium 2025 in Oulu, Finland,  will gather leading professionals, researchers, and policymakers to address the urgent challenges and emerging opportunities in architectural renovation.  Organised by Aaltosiilo Ry, Factum Foundation, and Gamified Cohousing Oy, the symposium rethinks renovation not just as a technical solution but as a cultural, environmental, and social opportunity. Over three days of guided site visits, expert talks, interactive workshops, and networking events, participants will explore strategies for reimagining the built environment, from modular construction to support renovation, and sustainable policy reform to participatory design approaches.
