About the 2025 NEMO Conference
The 2025 edition of NEMO’s European Museum Conference, taking place from 26–28 October 2025 in Horsens, Denmark, will explore the transformative role of museums in supporting mental health, emotional wellbeing, and community resilience. With more than 200 participants expected, the programme will feature case studies, partnerships between cultural and healthcare sectors, and discussions on the museum sector’s own strategies for self-care and sustainability.
Participants can expect fresh perspectives, meaningful conversations, and inspiring exchanges on how museums can become active contributors to public health and youth mental wellbeing.
Call for Participation
NEMO invites young museum professionals to submit creative presentation formats that align with the conference themes:
- Youth, wellbeing, and culture
- Building resilience in cultural institutions
Selected proposals will be featured in the conference programme, and presenters may receive a travel grant of up to €600.
