About the Webinar
In the rapidly shifting cultural landscape of Europe, young and emerging artists face increasing challenges in securing international opportunities. In response, Creative Europe-funded platforms aim to strengthen their mobility and enhance their access to new markets and audiences. But how well are these platforms adapting to evolving crises, economic pressures, and structural limitations within the creative value chain?
This interactive webinar will engage key representatives from Riga-based European platforms dedicated to photography, contemporary circus, poetry, and architecture, assessing their impact, challenges, and potential areas for development. The discussion will examine whether these initiatives effectively address the mobility needs of emerging artists, foster meaningful professional exchanges, and contribute to a more sustainable creative ecosystem.

The webinar also falls under New Solidarities (2025-2028), an EU co-funded project exploring more equitable access to cross-border opportunities, fairer working conditions, and sustainable mobility models for artists and cultural professionals in Europe and beyond.
