Liveurope | Music Saves Ukraine

Brussels' Ancienne Belgique together with Kyiv venue Atlas are presenting three emerging Ukrainian artists in a solidarity event.

April 19, 2023

This May 9th, Liveurope invites you to celebrate Europe in music with a tribute to Ukraine’s musical scene, one of the most inspiring and resilient on the continent.

For the ninth consecutive edition of our Europe Day celebrations, Ancienne Belgique venue has decided to join forces with the iconic Ukrainian venue Atlas to present three emerging Ukrainian acts, who will bring their own unique sound and style to the stage.

But that’s not all - in parallel to the event, Liveurope is launching a fundraising campaign for Music Saves UA, an initiative established by the Ukrainian Association of Music Events to provide humanitarian aid, such as the delivery of supplies (hygiene, food…) and the evacuation and resettlement of refugees. You will be discovering the next generation of Ukrainian artists and also make a real difference in the lives of people who urgently need help by making a voluntary donation. Each €10 collected will finance one humanitarian box providing food for one person for an entire week. The boxes will be mainly distributed in Kherson, the biggest city liberated by Ukrainian forces since the start of the war.

Join this unforgettable evening where we will honour the European values of unity and solidarity through the universal language of music!

This initiative is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union and has the official endorsement of the Cultural Creators Friendship Group, a cross-partisan coalition of currently 28 Members of the European Parliament from 6 different political groups and 14 different countries.
