About the Event
Collab4HySustCCI is a Creative Europe-funded initiative uniting partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, and Denmark. Through capacity building, mentoring, and small grants, the project supports cultural organisations to adopt innovative, participatory, and sustainable practices.
This knowledge-sharing event will feature:
- Workshops with local communities focused on participatory engagement.
- Networking and exchange sessions for cultural professionals from South-Eastern Europe to share experiences and explore new partnerships.
- Discussions on the future of CCIs, addressing sustainability and innovation.

Day 1: Collab with Local Communities

- Location: Cultural Centre of Municipality of Aspropyrgos, West Attica
Participants: Women’s communities and cultural professionals from Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, and surrounding areas

Day 2: International Exchange for Innovation in CCIs
- Date: 28 February 2025
- Location: Stavros Niarchos Cultural Centre, Athens & online
Participants: Cultural organisations, associations, social enterprises, creative professionals, and institutional representatives
Focus: International collaboration and innovation in the creative industries

The event will be hosted in Greece by Syn+Ergia, in partnership with the organisations: Matera Hub (Italy), Intercultura Consult (Bulgaria), Det Flyvende Teater (Denmark), Nova Iskra (Serbia), National Cultura Fund of Bulgaria for Collab4HySust, an innovation incubation project implemented with the support of the European Union and aimed at empowering cultural and creative actors in Europe to develop in a sustainable, participatory and innovative way.
