About IETM Global Connect 2025:
Global Connect is an IETM programme created with and supported by the
IETM Associate Members. The goal of Global Connect is to make IETM's network more inclusive, diverse, eco-responsible and accessible. Since 2022, IETM Global Connect has supported and welcomed 43 established performing arts professionals from five continents to our network. These professionals have enhanced interesting dialogues with their perspectives, knowledge and experiences.The IETM Global Connect programme supports performing arts professionals by providing free IETM membership for five years, access to exclusive networking events, online training sessions, and funding to attend the IETM Plenary Meeting in mid-May 2025. The programme aims to enhance global dialogues and promote diverse perspectives within the performing arts field.
What does Global Connect offer to the selected applicants?
As part of the programme, selected Global Connectors will benefit from:
- IETM Membership: A free individual IETM membership for five years (2025–2029) with full access to all membership benefits, including free registration for all IETM events, participation in IETM training sessions, access to the IETM internal platform, newsletters, and the opportunity to share news, resources, and calls for action.
- Exclusive Online Sessions: From January to May 2025, selected participants will take part in various online sessions leading up to the IETM Plenary Meeting. These include an introductory session, 1-1 sessions with the IETM team, testimonies from past Global Connect participants, and presentation sessions for the wider IETM membership.
- Funding to Attend IETM Plenary Meeting: Global Connectors will receive full financial support to attend the IETM Plenary Meeting in Europe in mid-May 2025. This support covers travel, accommodation, visa, and other relevant costs.
- Networking and Learning Opportunities: Participants will have the chance to meet other Global Connectors, IETM members, and international peers, strengthening their global connections and expanding their professional network.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in contemporary performing arts (excluding live music)
- Demonstrated commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Be proficient in English
- Ability to travel to Europe for the Plenary Meeting in May 2025
