As higher arts education transforms, the ETHO community will come together to celebrate the essential contributions of technical staff to future-ready teaching, learning, and research. Over three days, the conference will provide a collaborative platform for discussing emerging technologies and innovative practices, with an emphasis on eco-responsibility, well-being, and the integration of traditional and modern crafts.

- New Technologies: Strategies to adapt to rapid technological changes in technical education.
- Teaching and Learning Quality: How technicians can support resilient, innovative learning environments.
- Eco-Responsibility: Exploring sustainable approaches in technical practices and education.
- Health and Well-being: Building supportive communities in times of financial and resource constraints.

About ETHO

In January 2020 ELIA and ETHO signed a collaboration agreement to join forces. ETHO (European Technical Heads Organisation) is a network of higher art education technical staff. Established in 2016, ETHO aims to advance hands-on learning and innovation in all artistic disciplines through an inclusive community. ELIA and ETHO share the aim to empower higher arts education and facilitate the exchange of good practices. ETHO holds two annual events: one, enabling technical staff to share knowledge across the network; and the second aimed at technical leaders focused on the strategic development of technical services.
