The annual conference of Culture Action Europe opens doors tomorrow.
“BEYOND 2025: Being Many” replaces “Beyond the Obvious” of last year's title, in light of today’s democratic decline, political transformation, ongoing violent conflicts and the climate crisis.
In response to such challenges, over 200 representatives of the CCS ecosystem are about to meet and explore how to redesign traditional leadership in order to shape a new concept of cultural leadership.
This proposal suggests an overall upscale of the current role of culture on policy-making. It approaches cultural leadership as an alternative practice of empathetic, intersectional, intergenerational and sustainable governance.
The conference is about to take place during 4-7 June 2025, in Lavazza and Sermig, among other locations in Turin, Italy. It is organised by Culture Action Europe and its members Club Silencio and Fondazione Fitzcarraldo.
