About the event

Our Creative Lab gathers selected national and international experts from the inclusive cultural sector with cultural practitioners from Germany.

From May 7–10, 2026, the Creative Lab will take place in Remscheid, Germany, and will be focused on the questions:

- How do lived experiences of disability shape artistic practice?
- And what potential lies in Disabled Leadership?

The Creative Lab brings together selected international experts from the inclusive cultural sector with artists and cultural practitioners. Together, they will create space for exchange, artistic exploration and structural questions around disabled-led practice. Disabled-led refers to artistic and organisational practices where disabled people hold the key creative and decision-making roles.
