Who is it for: Cultural workers and volunteers from socio-cultural centres across Europe
---
About the Event
In this second Visions for the Future workshop, participants will move from reflection to purposeful action by addressing key systemic challenges within the socio-cultural sector. Building upon insights from the first session in March 2024, which highlighted issues such as mental health pressures, democratic erosion, and resource scarcity, this workshop aims to support sustainability transitions at both organisational and sectoral levels.
Participants will collaborate with peers from across Europe in a safe, dynamic space designed to share practices, ideas, and experiences. Facilitated by Anna Maria Ranczakowska and FULCRUM partners, the session will explore how socio-cultural centres can take active roles in nourishing their communities and fostering resilient sustainability models.
Who is it for?
These brainstorms are open to anyone who volunteers or works at/with a (socio-)cultural centre that is a member of the FULCRUM networks:
ENCC (Europe),
ACC (Belgium),
SozioKultur (Germany),
IG Kultur (Austria),
Dire Fare Baciare (Italy),
cult! (Belgium),
ACCE(Estonia) and
ALCC(Latvia).
Cultural workers from centres of any size or shape, who are motivated to share insights and experiences on their contexts, obstacles and lessons learned are welcome to join. Everyone is invited to make their mark on a collective vision for the future. No preparation is required—register and share your stories and strategies for overcoming sectoral challenges.
