About the workshop

Lottozero Textile Laboratories organises a 2-day workshop in Prato focused on fashion design for recyclability and disassembly, part of the European project IMASUS - Imagineering Sustainability. The workshop will take place on-site at Lottozero's spaces on May 23–24, 2026.

This workshop will bring together textile innovation, circular economy principles, and hands-on design development. Participants will work collaboratively to develop a prototype garment concept, including flats, material selection, and construction guidelines, resulting in a tech pack ready for production.

Hosted in collaboration with fashion designer Eva Di Franco, the workshop is guided by industry professionals and supported by the IMASUS structured design toolkit.

It’s a unique opportunity to:

- explore circular design through practice
- experiment with new approaches to materials and construction
- develop a project rooted in end-of-life thinking
- connect with a network of designers and sustainability practitioners

The Lottozero team is looking for fashion designers and creatives interested in pushing their work toward more circular and responsible systems.

IMASUS is a practice-based project that connects academic research on sustainable fashion materials with the real needs of designers, supporting the integration of circular design strategies into contemporary practice.
