About the Call:
The 32nd European Meeting of Cultural Journals will take place from October 11-13, 2024, in Warsaw, Poland and online. This event invites media professionals and journalists from across Europe to discuss the sustainability of independent cultural journalism in the face of shifting public funding models, media ownership, and political interference. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops aimed at addressing how these changes are affecting journalism and audiences alike.

Key topics include:

- Ownership and labour issues in the media industry
- Public funding models for cultural media in Europe
- Political pressures on independent journalism

Participants will also engage with presentations from the Come Together Creative Europe Journalism Partnerships project and partake in internal sessions that will address practical industry challenges.
