The Athens Residency, ARCAthens' flagship program, invites visual artists and curators worldwide to immerse themselves in Athens’ cultural landscape. This two-month, fully funded residency supports creatives in engaging with the city’s cultural revival through studio visits, curated tours, and community events.

About the Athens Residency Program:

The Athens Residency Fellowship provides two talented individuals—one in visual art and one in curatorial practice—with an opportunity to live and work in Athens. Fellows gain access to a network of cultural professionals, including curated studio and private collection visits, offering an authentic engagement with Athens' art community. Fellows are also invited to contribute to a seminar at the Athens School of Fine Arts and to participate in a public end-of-residency showcase.

Fellowship Prize: $2,000 USD
Weekly Stipend: $150 USD for food and local travel
Air Travel: Round-trip airfare covered (basic coach)
Housing: Private bedroom with shared facilities

ARCAthens values diversity and welcomes applicants from all countries and nationalities not residing in Greece., representing a broad range of creative thought and practice.
