Cultural Heritage and Museums as agents of resilience post-covid19

An open letter sent on April 24th 2020 to the Belgian Prime Minister, Ms Sophie Wilmès; to the Belgian Regional Ministers: Mr Jan Jambon for the Flemish Region, Mr Elio Di Rupo for the Walloon Region and Mr Rudi Vervoort for the Brussels Capital Region ; to the Belgian Community Ministers : Mr Jan Jambon for the Flemish Community, Mr Pierre-Yves Jeholet for the Fench Community, and Oliver Paasch for the German Community; to the MPs of the different Belgian political entities; to the Belgian mayors; and to all Belgian politicians.

As a medium for expressing values ​​and structuring relationships with others, cultural heritage is essential to the well-being of individuals and communities through its symbolism and its aesthetic dimensions.
