The New European Bauhaus expresses the EU's ambition of creating beautiful, sustainable and inclusive places of living, ways of living and products and to bring a cultural and creative dimension to the European Green Deal. The music sector has for a long time embraced many of these aims and continues to work towards achieving more inclusivity and sustainability. Yet many in the music sector struggle to see their place in the New European Bauhaus - how it will impact the sector or how they can contribute. In this discussion bringing together policymakers and music sector stakeholders we want to further explore the question: What is the place of music in the New European Bauhaus?
This event in the European Parliament will bring together policymakers and music sector stakeholders for presentations and discussions to sound out the opportunities for music in the New European Bauhaus. The event is jointly organised by the European Music Council (EMC), the Cultural Creators Friendship Group (CCFG) and the New European Bauhaus Friendship Group (NEBFG) in the European Parliament.
