About the Season
The UK/Brazil Season of Culture provides a platform to showcase the best of both nations’ creativity and cultural heritage. Designed to build long-lasting partnerships, this initiative will present diverse artistic projects and encourage collaboration across various disciplines. Through face-to-face and hybrid formats, the Season aims to inspire innovative approaches to contemporary cultural and social challenges while amplifying underrepresented voices.
Objectives
This Open Call aims to:
- Foster connections and long-term collaborations between UK and Brazilian cultural sectors.
- Support innovative projects that address contemporary cultural and social issues.
- Showcase emerging talents and diverse cultural expressions from both nations.
Who Can Apply
- Cultural organisations, charities, arts practitioners, festivals, museums, theatres, and community arts organisations.
- Applications must involve at least one UK-based and one Brazil-based partner.
- Proposals should be submitted in English or Portuguese, depending on the project’s delivery location.
