"In an age where information overload can lead to disconnection and inaction, artistic practice reconnects us to our senses, prompting reflection and deeper engagement with the world around us" writes the call to participate in the conference titled: "Navigating the future: Creating sustainable engagement".
The conference will delve into how culture provides spaces where diverse perspectives are valued, fostering inclusive communities and encouraging the pursuit of new ideas and unconventional approaches to challenges.
RESEO initiatives include the integration of migrants and refugees, the rehabilitation of formerly incarcerated individuals, the search for innovative climate solutions, and the promotion of mental and physical well-being. The conference aims to address pertinent questions such as: Do cultural institutions now bear social responsibility? What is the role of artists and art workers in today's transformations?
Registration for the event is now open, with early bird rates available. RESEO offers different rates for members, non-members, students, and seniors. Additionally, non-RESEO members based in select European countries can apply for financial assistance under the new Europe and Beyond programme. The conference presents an opportunity for arts professionals to come together, share insights, and shape the future of sustainable engagement in the arts.
Non-RESEO members based in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey or Ukraine wishing to attend the RESEO Conference 2024 can apply for financial assistance under our new Europe and Beyond programme.
