About Redesign Belonging
Redesign Belonging project aims to foster solidarity and promote a sense of belonging among migrant women who have been in home countries for more than five years. By involving immigrant women, design enthusiasts and professional designers to work together, the project aims to develop innovative models and solutions for integration, tailored to various contexts within the EU.
Eligibility
- Whether your idea focuses on public spaces, services, or personal experiences, we’re looking for a range of solutions
- Your project can be at an early idea stage or a more developed stage
- You don’t need to be a designer—just bring your ideas and enthusiasm to co-create with What Design Can Do.
The winning projects will become a part of a Creative Collective Cohort and will be part of a Development programme, this will include:
- Co-creation workshop hosted in the Netherlands, Finland, or Spain to refine your ideas together with communities, designers and policy makers.
- Gain visibility through What Design Can Do’s platform and the project partners
- Pilot your ideas with experts and gather real-world feedback. Present your project to key stakeholders and expand your network.
- Winning projects will be awarded €1000.
- Showcase at and attend the WDCD Live Event in Amsterdam in June 2025
