The Prince Claus Fund invites mid-career artists and cultural practitioners to apply for Cycle 3 of the Moving Narratives Fellowship. This programme supports socially engaged creative work that interrogates how histories are shaped and sustained, and how art can open new possibilities for collective life. Selected Fellows receive €10,000.

Moving Narratives supports artistic practices that question inherited histories, reimagine knowledge frameworks, and connect local realities to broader emancipatory movements. This open call is for artists working across moving image, performance, writing, archival research, and other critical forms. Fellows will explore how narratives shape society while participating in a collaborative programme led by Senior Fellows.
The programme values:
- Intersectional and critical approaches
- Social engagement and ethical responsibility
- Challenging Eurocentric discourses
- A €10,000 grant to invest in your individual practice
- Participation in a 12-month programme with 8 other Fellows
- Mentorship and exchange with 4 Senior Fellows
- Peer learning, creative strategy development, and visibility through the Prince Claus Fund
You are eligible if you:
- Are an individual (not a duo, collective, or organisation)
- Have 7–15 years of professional experience
- Are from, living and working in one of the eligible countries
- Are actively involved in a creative practice (not only management or research)
- Can communicate in English
