This October, our selection brings together opportunities across digital and new media, design, performing arts, contemporary craft, and international collaboration. The calls offer support ranging from prototype funding and fully funded residencies to international touring partnerships and a €50,000 craft prize. With deadlines falling between 12 October and 2 November, there are several opportunities to explore over the coming weeks.
1) Goethe-Institut | International Coproduction Fund (IKF) 2026 Open Call
Sector: Music, Dance, Theatre, Performance Art, International Collaboration
Deadline: October 12, 2026
The Goethe-Institut’s International Coproduction Fund (IKF) supports international coproductions in music, dance, theatre, and performance art. The fund focuses on collaborative and dialogue-based projects that encourage artistic innovation, intercultural exchange, and new forms of international collaboration.
Projects may include hybrid, interdisciplinary, or digital elements, but must involve genuine collective artistic development. Touring, guest performances, and festival appearances without a coproduction component are not eligible.
Support provided:
- Funding between €15,000 and €30,000
- Support for artist fees, travel, and production costs
- Funding for international coproduction and artistic exchange
Who can apply:
- International artistic partners working collaboratively
- Projects in music, dance, theatre, or performance art
- Projects demonstrating a collective artistic development process

2. Onassis Foundation | ONX Seeds Open Call 2026
Sector: Digital Arts, New Media, Creative Technology, Interdisciplinary Practices
Deadline: October 26, 2026
ONX Seeds supports early-stage projects that explore technology as a material for experience, imagination, and design. The programme is looking for new media creators, creative technologists, designers, game developers, and interdisciplinary teams developing projects that move between the digital and the physical.
Selected projects will develop functional prototypes that can be experienced, worn, touched, inhabited, played, or shared, with support spanning funding, mentorship, technical development, and presentation opportunities.
Support provided:
- Seed funding of up to €5,000 for prototype development
- Access to the ONX Studio in Athens
- Tailored mentorship and technical, artistic, and production support
- Presentation at the ONX Exhibition in Athens in March 2027
- Connections to the ONX Studio in New York and the wider ONX partner network

- Emerging creators, artists, and teams working in new media, digital culture, and hybrid storytelling
- Creative technologists, designers, developers, sound and visual artists, makers, and innovators
- Greek and international creators and interdisciplinary teams based in eligible countries

3. EMMA Creative Center Pforzheim | Designers in Residence 2027
Sector: Design, Jewellery, Fashion, Accessories, Industrial & Graphic Design
Deadline: November 2, 2026
EMMA Creative Center’s Designers in Residence programme invites three young designers from across Europe to develop their work in Pforzheim from April 1 to June 30, 2027. The residency supports projects across jewellery, fashion, accessories, industrial, graphic, and other areas of design.
Residents will work from EMMA Creative Center, with access to equipped workshops and coworking spaces, while developing their projects within Pforzheim’s active design community. The programme concludes with an exhibition presenting the residents’ work at EMMA.
Support provided:
- Fully funded three-month residency from April 1 to June 30, 2027
- €1,000 monthly support and travel costs
- Free accommodation in Pforzheim
- Access to equipped workshop facilities and coworking spaces
- Additional allowance for material costs
- Final exhibition at EMMA Creative Center
Who can apply:
- Young designers working across jewellery, fashion, accessories, industrial, graphic, and other design fields
- Designers from the eligible European countries
- Applicants developing a project to be pursued during the three-month residency
4. Perform Europe | 3rd Open Call for Performing Arts Collaborations
Sector: Performing Arts, Theatre, Dance, Circus, Performance, Sustainability
Deadline: October 22, 2026
Perform Europe’s third open call offers €1.4 million in funding for performing arts collaborations across the 41 Creative Europe countries. The programme supports partnerships that explore new approaches to cross-border touring, with a focus on making international collaboration fairer, greener, and more inclusive.
Proposals should focus on one of two main priorities: Inclusion & Diversity or Fight Against Climate Change. Partnerships are also expected to promote quality, innovation, fair practices, and collaboration across different European regions.
Support provided:
- €1.4 million in total funding for at least 25 partnerships
- Small grants of €15,000
- Medium grants of €25,000
- Large grants of €55,000
- Support for cross-border performing arts collaboration and touring
Who can apply:
- Partnerships of at least three professional organisations or individuals
- Partners legally based in at least three different Creative Europe countries
- Partnerships with at least one completed performing arts work to be presented in at least three countries
- Projects in circus, dance, outdoor arts, performance art, puppetry, or theatre
- Partnerships implemented between March 1, 2027 and January 31, 2028
5. LOEWE FOUNDATION | Craft Prize 2027
Sector: Craft, Applied Arts, Contemporary Craft
Deadline: October 15, 2026
The
LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize celebrates excellence, innovation, and artistic merit in contemporary craft. The annual international prize supports working artists whose vision and approach to craftsmanship contribute to the development of the field.
The 2027 edition is open to professional artisans working individually or collectively, with submissions spanning applied arts disciplines including ceramics, bookbinding, leatherwork, and metal. Submitted works must be original, at least partially handmade, and created within the past five years.
Support provided:
- €50,000 prize for the winning entry
- International recognition and support for contemporary craft
Who can apply:
- Professional artisans worldwide aged 18 and over
- Individuals or collectives
- Artists working across applied arts and craft disciplines
- Works created within the past five years
- Original, at least partially handmade works that have not previously received an award
