Northern Dimention is inviting you to an interactive online event dedicated to “Approaches to culture and health cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region”. During the event will take place the launching of “Talking Points: Arts and Health in Communities” guide that was developed in collaboration with Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being (NDPHS).
The potential benefits of art and culture for health and well-being have been well studied and proven – but how to turn theory into practice? Which methods and approaches can we use to create cooperation between the health and cultural sectors that result in positive health outcomes? The Baltic Sea Region is rich in examples of such interventions, and approaches such as “Arts on Prescription” have been successfully piloted in several countries.In this interactive online event, Northern Dimention wants to showcase concrete examples of arts and health actions taken in the region and give a stage to the people who made them a reality. Join to learn about different ideas and methods and become part of a developing community of enthusiastic arts and health practitioners.
The event is jointly organised by Odense Municipality on behalf of the Interreg BSR “Arts on Prescription” project, the Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being (NDPHS) as the Coordinator of Policy Area Health in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) and the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture (NDPC), with financial support from the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2021-2027.
