About the Call:

Music Tech Europe Academy is a dynamic 7-month program that handpicks 10 of the most innovative European startups each year. The selected startups are at the forefront of transforming the music ecosystem through groundbreaking technologies such as AI, VR, AR, 3D Audio, and Blockchain.

During the program, participants will benefit from:

Hybrid Mentorship: Engage with mentors in music, tech, finance, and entrepreneurship.
In-Person Networking Events: Attend industry events such as Linecheck in Milan and Sónar in Barcelona.
Investment Pitch Sessions: Showcase your solutions to potential investors.
Vibrant Community: Join a network of fellow digital innovators and music professionals.
The program will kick off in November 2024 at Linecheck Music Festival in Milan and culminate in June 2025 at Sónar in Barcelona, with online mentorship sessions throughout.

Participation Requirements:

Music Tech Europe Academy is open to Startups and SMEs already established as companies, as well as pre-company-formation projects with a clear proof of concept. Participants must offer technological, business, or artistic solutions to challenges in the music ecosystem, with a focus on the European market.

Participants are expected to actively engage in all program activities organized by partners like Music Innovation Hub, Media Deals, Technoport, MESO Events, and Barcelona Music Tech Hub. This includes attending key events in person, such as the kick-off meeting and the closing event, and participating in the mentoring and meetups. Non-compliance may result in exclusion from the program.

A participation fee of €300 will be charged to cover physical and digital training, networking activities, events, and industry/investor meetups.

Eligible startups must be based in one of the countries listed in the Creative Europe program, with a clear focus on the European market. Eligibility is based on the startup’s location, not the nationality of its founders.
