The Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union invites you to Brussels on Thursday 16 May 2024 for a seminar on working conditions for artists in Europe.
The aim of the seminar is to report on recent legislative or institutional initiatives in this area and to offer a unique opportunity for a diverse audience to meet. Cultural players and their representatives, as well as political decision-makers and institutions from the Member States and the European Union, are invited to take this opportunity to discuss, together, how to improve working conditions for artists in Europe.

Artists’ Statuses in Europe: case studies
Fair practices in the cultural and creative sectors

The seminar will be held at the Palais des Académies from 2pm to 6pm, and will be broadcasted simultaneously online. It will be followed by a cocktail reception.
The seminar is open to all by registration until 3 May 2024, and subject to availability of places for onsite participation.
