About the call

A call for three Mediterranean collaborators to bridge the gap between memory and contemporary practice. As local knowledge fades from daily practice into memory, Cotranspose chooses to reclaim it. Through this open call they are looking for three creative practitioners to join the project in Dikea, Greece, for an intergenerational exchange focused on:

Sustainable Food Traditions
- Traditional Textile Artistry
- Ecological Heritage Practices

The Collaboration: Selected practitioners will be partnered with local knowledge holders and youth to translate traditional wisdom into new creative forms. This project is part of a larger effort to reimagine local histories through Cotranspose's interactive archive, Co-llection.

The Exchange:
- Support: A fixed amount of €1,000 for travel, time, and creative needs.
Location: Dikea, Greece (Workshops April 26–28 | Co-festival April 30 – May 3).
Environment: Shared housing in reclaimed village houses and access to creative workspaces.
Residency Opportunity: Participants are welcome to arrive in Dikea and join the residency period at any time during the full month of April to further establish their practice within the local landscape.(This is not a mandatory part of the project)
Timeline: Deadline to apply is February 28th. Notification in early March.

Selection Process:  To stay true to our accessibility values, we focus on connection. Applicants are invited to tell a story of inspiration anonymously; a local youth committee will help choose the voices that speak to them most.

Apply via the application form and read more about Cotranspose on the official website.

About "Stories We Share"

The "Stories We Share" action seeks to address the problems of youth detachment and the erosion of intangible heritage caused by limited diverse opportunities, economic stagnation, and the resulting out-migration of young people. Through the overarching action of participatory digital documentation and archiving of cultural heritage in three thematic areas (sustainable food traditions, traditional textile artistry, and ecological heritage), the project aims to bring together international collaborators, local youth (aged 14-18), and local knowledge holders/elders to collect, preserve, and reimagine intangible heritage.
