About the Programme
The IN SITU PLATFORM supports artistic creation in public spaces, emphasizing societal and environmental transitions. Managed by Lieux Publics, the platform brings together a consortium of over 20 programmers who have supported more than 300 artists for over 20 years.
Selected participants will join the Learning & Discovering programme, which includes:
- Online preparation meetings and training modules.
- An immersive lab with networking opportunities.
- Peer-to-peer exchanges with experienced IN SITU artists.
- Workshops and training sessions to pitch projects to international programmers.
- Exposure to public space creation contexts and festivals hosted by IN SITU partners.
Selected artists will benefit from:
- Training in sustainability, project pitching, and public space production.
- A fully immersive six-day lab during a European festival or event.
- Support sessions with On The Move and workshops led by IN SITU programmers.
- Networking opportunities with artists and culture professionals.
- Coverage of participation fees, travel, meals, and accommodation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be emerging artists with projects for public spaces or unconventional venues.
- Propose artistic productions under development (beyond the idea stage but not yet touring).
- Be based in EU or Creative Europe participating countries.
- Demonstrate technical feasibility and adaptability to European contexts.
- Have basic conversational English.
