The European Commission launched a call for evidence on how to strengthen the New European Bauhaus (NEB).

Participants are invited to provide their views on the challenges and effective solutions needed to scale up and further develop the New European Bauhaus.

The consultation initiative aims at strengthening the NEB’s transformative impact, towards “beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive”buildings, public spaces and neighbourhoods in the spirit of creation and community.

Submissions on the Have Your Say portal are open until 17 October, here

On the basis of feedback received, the Commission plans to adopt a Communication and a proposal for a Council Recommendation in December 2025.

Since NEB's launching in 2020, the EU has invested €740 million in almost 700 NEB projects across Europe and beyond and the NEB community counts more than 1,900 organisations, including architects, designers, researchers, local communities and citizens.
