Space Mark workshop is organised as part of the Tale of X Cities program, initiated by Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki and artistically directed by ArtBOX.gr. Tale of X Cities brings together citizens and local institutions to co-produce community, culture and cultural policy. It is a unique model for the creation of community and the collaborative production of culture by citizens and local institutions.

The workshop will take place on May 31st and is designed to guide young and emerging artists through the process of creating an exciting portfolio that showcases their artistic interests and personal practice. The workshop explores the links between digital/print and video portfolios and examines methodologies for creating a meaningful and consistent visual language. On the first day, participants will learn how to effectively organize their work, how to select projects that best represent their practice by emphasizing their strengths, and how to build a digital portfolio with a cohesive narrative. On the second day, participants will experiment with the possibilities of the video portfolio, using existing work or new material that showcases their skills and talents.

Space Mark includes several key components:

-Exhibition: Two artists selected through an open call will have their work exhibited as part of the program.
-Seminar: Professionals from the art world and representatives of cultural organizations will share their knowledge and experiences with participants.
-Workshop: The focus will be on socially engaged art practices.

The program's centrepiece is a two-day Portfolio Masterclass on May 31 and June 1. Led by experienced artists, designers, and educators, the workshop will guide participants through creating an engaging digital and video portfolio to showcase their artistic interests and practices.
