European Cultural Heritage Data Platform Enters New Strategic Phase

A  new website for the data space for cultural heritage by Europeana is connecting cultural heritage data, tools, and communities across Europe.

The Europeana Foundation has redesigned the dedicated website for the common European data space for cultural heritage, expanding its previous online presence. This EU-funded initiative contributes to the development of the Common European data spaces, which aims to interconnect data infrastructures across sectors and support the creation of a single market for data in Europe.

The website offers an overview of the activities taking place in the data space and highlights its services, tools, initiatives, and the diverse network of partners contributing to its development and implementation. 

The main audiences of the common European data space for cultural heritage include anyone interested in accessing, using, or contributing to the data space and benefiting from its services and resources. Key audiences include:

It also offers a suite of data space products, ranging from the Europeana Academy and training platform to the Statistics Dashboard and Europeana.eu, supporting knowledge sharing, reuse, capacity building, and innovation in the cultural heritage sector.
