European Cultural Foundation: The European Cultural Foundation calls for curatorial proposals

The European Cultural Foundation announced a new commissioning grant of up to 500,000 EUR to be given to one organization or consortium of partners for the curating and hosting of the European Pavilion 2024

June 20, 2023
The European Pavilion, launched by the European Cultural Foundation (ECF) in 2020, is a pan-European initiative that raises awareness of Europe and its future(s) through cultural programs and art commissions. It is the result of ECF's view that greater cultural spaces that go beyond national boundaries are needed when examining and conceptualizing what Europe is and what it may or should become.

The European Pavilion, commissioned by ECF through a call for proposals, presents a pan-European arts and culture program with the goal of making Europe more understandable and relatable as a socio-geographical and cultural space that connects us through shared as well as contested sentiments. Its activities, projects, and events provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reflect on new and international perspectives on Europe.

The deadline for the proposal is September 14, 2023, at 1 p.m. CEST.
