The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather feedback on the Creative Europe programme, which provides funding and support to the cultural and creative sectors across Europe.

The consultation, which is open until September 6th, 2024, invites everyone - not just those directly involved in the programme - to share their thoughts on how the initiative is working and how it could be improved.

Creative Europe is the EU's flagship programme for supporting the cultural and creative industries. It has provided over €2.4 billion in funding since 2014 for projects spanning the performing arts, audiovisual, heritage, design, fashion, and other creative fields.

The consultation is part of the ongoing evaluation process for the programme. The feedback collected will inform both the final evaluation of the 2014-2020 Creative Europe programme as well as the interim evaluation of the 2021-2027 edition.

The consultation is available in all 24 official EU languages and can be accessed through the European Commission's Culture and Creativity website. An EU login account is required to participate.

The results of the consultation, along with other evaluation data, will be compiled into a report to be submitted to the European Parliament and Council of the EU later this year.
