Empowering Euro-Med Creatives: Comprehensive Skills Training for Cultural and Creative Industries

This call invites participants from the Euro-Mediterranean region to attend a comprehensive training program on enhancing skills for professionals in the Creative and Cultural Sectors & Industries (CCSI). The program combines online learning with a culminating 4-day in-person training event in Cyprus, providing a unique blend of virtual and on-site educational experiences.

Organizers: Organization for European Programmes and Cultural Relations, in collaboration with Materahub and Anna Lindh Foundation
Who is it for: Professionals active in cultural and creative sectors from the Euro-Mediterranean region, with balanced participation from South partner countries (Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan) and North partner countries (EU members and candidate states).
Funding: Travel to Cyprus, accommodation, meals, and local transportation will be provided for eligible participants who successfully complete the online portion of the training.

About the Call:

The Building Entrepreneurial, Transversal and Digital Competences for CCSI Professionals in Euro-Mediterranean programme is a transnational, gender-sensitive opportunity aimed at improving skill sets and supporting the digital transition of cultural and creative operators. The training consists of online courses and a final 4-day in-person event in Cyprus.

Key details: 

The training programme consists of online courses running throughout October 2024, followed by a final 4-day in-person event in Cyprus from 6-9 December 2024. The course structure includes 3 online courses comprising 9 modules, complemented by weekly live sessions. Topics covered in the comprehensive curriculum range from developing an entrepreneurial mindset and business planning to fostering innovation, enhancing teamwork skills, building self-efficacy, honing critical thinking abilities, mastering digital marketing techniques, interpreting data analysis, and managing projects effectively. This blended learning approach aims to provide a well-rounded skill set for professionals in the Creative and Cultural Sectors & Industries.

Eligibility criteria:

- Work experience in cultural and creative sectors
- Based or registered in the Euro-Mediterranean region
- Eligible to obtain a visa for Cyprus
- Very good command of English
Priority is given to: Participants from Anna Lindh Foundation Network organizations, Women, young people (≤35), minorities, persons with migrant background
