#ECIS23: Transformative skills – embrace friction to create the unexpected
This year’s final #ECIS23 conference will start on the 23th May in the midday Forum and will end with a dinner after the conference on the 24th of May in Helsingborg. On the 25th of May there is a bonus program with a morning swim and after that a visit to the Southern Sweden Design Days.
The program will be presenting the last policy updates on the Europe’s cultural and creatives industries and sectors with a special focus and the European Year of Skills 2023.
The #ECIS will present activities of both local, regional and European stakeholders in regard to the ECIS 2023 title “Transformative skills: Embracing friction, creating the unexpected”.
You will discuss how the cultural and creative industries can contribute with their special skills to a world in transformation but also what kind of education, training and skills are needed by the sector in the future. ECIS listens to artists who are embracing friction and using it as a base to create the unexpected. And together you will work on new policies for the public sector to support the cultural and creative industries in non-predictable times.
