Artists and cultural professionals looking to develop their practice across borders can apply for Culture Moves Europe’s Individual Mobility Grant, supporting short-term projects in another Creative Europe country.
The scheme supports artists and cultural professionals working in architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, and visual arts, with no specific level of professional experience required. Individuals can apply alone or as a group of up to five people, provided they have an international partner in the host country.
The proposed project should pursue at least two of four objectives: learn, create, explore, or connect. This could mean developing new work, exchanging knowledge and skills, researching a place or practice, or building connections with local cultural communities and professionals.
Selected applicants receive a daily allowance of €85, alongside travel support of €400 or €800, depending on the distance travelled. Additional funding is available for green travel, family responsibilities, accessibility needs, visas, and applicants based in or travelling to outermost regions or overseas countries and territories.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with the current call open from 1 October 2026 until 30 April 2027.
