While planning the new edition of the pop-up shop within the creative hub Prostor in Split (Croatia), Culture Hub Croatia decided to adapt the format following the events in Ukraine, and try to at least in some way help artists who decide to immigrate to Split. Their possibilities, as a small organization in culture, are not huge, but they believe that with the help of the local community and cooperation with other creatives in Croatia, can provide valuable assistance to artists.

The concept of the pop up shop is to promote selected small businesses, artists and creatives, and their products are accompanied with events during which people have the opportunity to learn something new and meet with the creators.

Their part of the revenue (30% of sales) this year they are fully investing in their emergency fund. They will use the Fund to host artists from Ukraine:

- they offer temporary residence within the space (they can host max. 2 artists at the same time);
- assistance in finding permanent accommodation in Split;
- free workspace (open studio and co-working);
- material for work;
- integration assistance…

The pop-up shop starts on April 8 with a couple of selected products, and it will last as long as it is necessary.

They also accept donations to the Fund in any amount, without the obligation to purchase works and products from the pop-up shop. If you want to help in any other way, you can contact them at info@culturehubcroatia.hr.

They will inform the public in a timely manner and transparently show the investment of all collected funds.
