Starting in January 2026, GreenBeat Nexus will conduct extensive research, training, and redistribute €3.6 million to at least 60 third-party projects until 2029.
The project’s objectives are to:
- map sustainability challenges and best practices
- build capacity and facilitate knowledge transfer
- provide financial support for green innovation
The program supports sustainable practices in production, live events, touring, and digital distribution.
A Network of Green Specialists provides tailored mentorship, while collaborations with policymakers and institutions ensure broad impact.
The vision of the initiative is to make sustainability a core principle, benefiting stakeholders of all sizes and fostering systemic change across Europe’s music landscape.
The GreenBeat Nexus project has been selected following the Music Moves Europe call on greening the music sector.
Led by INOVA+, European Music Council, The Green Room, On the Move, and KEA, the consortium brings expertise in research, policy, and funding.
