Participate in an online brainstorming session to assess the requirements of European youth and explore the potential for establishing new co-working spaces or hubs that address their needs.
Vida Lactea and Lug Open Factory, an ECHN member, invite you to attend this online meeting on Friday 28 July at 11 am CET (duration: 1h30). The primary objective of the meeting is to foster collaboration and synergy among various hubs within and beyond the Atlantic area working in the fields of youth entrepreneurship and empowerment, climate change, environmental sustainability, blue economy, and creativity. AYCH is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme, aiming at building a model of social innovation for young people supporting social entrepreneurship, employment, and education in the creative and cultural industries. It will develop new approaches and interventions within youth service and education settings across the Atlantic area (UK, France, Spain and Portugal). Connecting people, ideas, skills, technologies and enterprises across a network of hubs the project will unlock the creative, entrepreneurial potential of young people (14-30) focusing on key themes such as innovation, co-creation of products, social entrepreneurship and employability.
As a result, more young people will be able to develop creative, digital and entrepreneurial skills building and prototyping product and service ideas to address societal issues across the Atlantic area. The project expects to lower youth unemployment rates, in the partner areas, raise awareness of social enterprise as an option for business start-up, promoting responsible, sustainable entrepreneurship and improve youth services to create more dynamic, entrepreneurial, inspiring environments where young people can co-create, connect across borders and dramatically improve employability, providing vital incubation space and services to young entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries.
