About the residency
Curiosa Ltd's residency programme returns in 2026 to a brand new home in Northern Portugal: the Court of Cavalum, an enchanting 18th-century mansion 30 minutes outside of Porto. The residency offers a cross-arts journey that brings together visual artists, musicians, and performers for twelve days of collaborative creation. Experience a carefully curated programme of movement sessions, ensemble workshops, skill shares, field trips, creative briefs, mentoring and more. Working across disciplines, participants will co-create new works (performance, installation, sound, movement) culminating in a promenade performance of the historic space.

and self-taught) who are ready to step outside their comfort zones and experiment with collaboration
across genre and practice.
