The humanitarian fundraising campaign "VOICES FOR PEACE" aims to raise funds to help support, rebuild and restore schools in Ukraine, in order to safeguard children's right to education in conflict zones. Another goal is to provide Ukrainian refugee children in Romania with access to online courses or educational programs adapted to the specificities of the Ukrainian education.
The campaign is supported by the the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and carried out through the institutions under their coordination,
The Romanian National Opera in Iasi will also join the campaign. On Wednesday, June 1, starting with 6.30 pm, a charity concert will be held at the Romanian National Opera in Iasi. Atists of the Ia?i Opera, the Ia?i Youth Orchestra, the Ia?i Municipality Children’s Choir, students from the Iasi National University of Arts and the Octav Bancil? National Arts College will attend the concert. All the collected funds will be directed to the Union of Ukrainians in Romania.
