Are you a Palestinian artist passionate in reviving Palestinian cultural heritage, artistic expression, and creative industries? Are you seeking to develop your artistic production capabilities, connect with new networks, and develop new markets for your work?

This opportunity might be just what you've been searching for!

The Goethe-Institute, on behalf of the EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) Cluster Palestine and the European Union, is pleased to announce an opportunity for emerging Palestinian and European artists to participate in an interdisciplinary artistic residency program.

This residency seeks to foster the collaboration, experimentation, presentation, and performance of new works that engage both local communities within Palestinian heritage sites and international, and online audiences.

Successful applicants will be provided with an inspiring cultural environment to experiment and express their artistic visions either individually or collaboratively on multi-disciplinary art projects, exhibitions, and open studios.

The residency program aims to facilitate creative discussions and exchanges among participants through tours, lectures, and seminars.

This is an opportunity to disconnect from their daily routines, dedicate time to artistic research, experiment creatively, and develop their professional practice in a collaborative environment.

The program also supports the international collaboration and multilateral alliances, with European artists in creating and evolving innovative artworks,

The residency will culminate in public events at a cultural heritage site, bringing together local and international audiences, in person and virtually. These projects will aim to preserve and enhance Palestinian cultural heritage.

Residency offer

The residency will offer free studio space, a per diem allowance, accommodation and production grant for materials and other production costs, mentoring, and logistical support to culminate in an exhibition/public event.
