We are posting today with a heavy heart and sad news from our Ukrainian community. Креативна платформа Млин (Mlyn Creative Platform), a creative hub in Zaporizhia, Ukraine was hit by a russian missile this weekend. A powerful blast wave and debris damaged all the windows of the complex, plaster walls, musical equipment and other things. Even though the building was ruined fortunately, everyone is alive and safe.
We severely condemn all these brutal acts, as well as any form of violence: we stand for freedom, democracy, and as Europeans and humans we stand with Ukraine and its people, in particular our ECHN members, friends and partners.

Mlyn Creative Platform
The creative platform Mlyn is a public organization, renting about 1.000 square meters of the old steam mill of Hermann Niebuhr, built in 1985, which has the status of an architectural monument of local importance. The mission of the platform is the development of creative communities and artists, thereby improving the development of the city's culture. Also, with their activity, the Mlyn team is trying to create a powerful point of attraction in the city, to revitalize the entire mill building. It serves as a platform for a wide range of activities - from gallery events with performances and festivals to atmospheric meetings, literary evenings and film screenings.
