TOWCHED | Call for Expression of Interest for Museums

Open call for 10 museums to create collection-based interventions contributing to societal change

TOWCHED project calls for expression of interest for subcontracted collection-based intervention services with museums. TOWCHED is inviting up to 10 museums to submit an Expression of Interest to deliver subcontracted collection-based interventions with children and youth between July 2026 and July 2027.

Selected museums will receive a fixed contract value of €3,000 for the delivery of these services, alongside TOWCHED capacity building, practical tools, peer exchange and participation in a Europe-wide Community of Practice.

Participating museums will co-design and implement a collection-based intervention for and with diverse groups of children and youth.

The intervention should integrate Education for Sustainable Development, the Human Rights-Based Approach, the TOWCHED Kit of Creative Resources, co-creation with a learning community, and collaboration with local community stakeholders.

Selected museums will also contribute to TOWCHED support, monitoring and evaluation activities.

ELIGIBILITY

- Eligible organisations must be public or non-profit museums holding permanent or semi-permanent collections, legally established in EU Member States or European countries associated to Horizon Europe.
- Applicants must have an interest or experience in topics connected to the Sustainable Development Goals and Education for Sustainable Development, work with children and youth, and not be a TOWCHED consortium member, including affiliated or associated entities.
- Relevant topics may include sustainability, peace, human rights, social justice, inclusion, social change, environmental protection and restoration.
