Are you a European artist working at the intersection of culture and health? Apply now to join the Artist Shadowing Program September 29 – October 1, 2026, in Tampere, Finland. Applications are open until June 7, 2026.
What is the Artist Shadowing Program?
As part of the CultureAndHealth Platform project, two international (EU) artists will be welcomed to Finland for a three-day program designed to explore the intersection of culture and health. The program includes:
- Visits to art workshops to exchange and gain hands-on experience
- Insights of artistic production in the field of culture and health
- Opportunity to share your own work and exchange with the local artists
- Shared dinner for informal networking and community-building
Final sharing where both artists and participating organizations share their insights of the Shadowing Program and have the opportunity to strengthen the international network of culture and health professionals

AMOUNT
Travel expenses up to €350 / artist and accommodation up to €400 /artist and provide a daily allowance of €300 /artist for the entire period (€60/day, 5 days). Expenses will be reimbursed to the artists after the program. If needed, there is some flexibility regarding travel and accommodation costs, and advance payment may also be arranged. In short, an artist can receive up to €1,050 in travel support for this shadowing program.

ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES
ELIGIBILITY
You are eligible for this Artist Shadowing Program, if you:
- Have at least three years of professional experience as an artist
- Work entirely or partially at the intersection of arts, culture, and health and wellbeing
- Have been working for at least two years with one or more wellbeing, social services or healthcare partners
- Live and work in an EU country or a Creative Europe country listed here
Priority may be given to artists who have not yet received a grant from the Culture and Health platform.
